Vortex released the Crossfire Red Dot in 2018 and has been a very good seller right out of the gate. There is good reason why the Crossfire sells so well and I will go into that below. Please remember you can grade and review this item yourself by entering your comments below.

The Vortex battery lifetime can be an estimated 7,000 hours onto a moderate brightness setting. The battery is a commonly found battery at most local shops. It includes a CR 2032 battery.

This red dot sight has a 2 MOA. It allows for fast and effortless target acquisition. The small size allows you to target smaller items at a longer distance.

The body of the Vortex Crossfire is made from aircraft grade aluminum and also has a hard anodized coating. It’s light at just 5.2 ounces but still feels very sturdy which makes this a sight handle almost any situation you may encounter. This red dot sight is shockproof  and is ok to be used on firearms with heavy recoil.

The glass is coated ensure a clear and bright image. On top of that the sight is almost parallax free. Considering all red dot sights have a some amount of parallax that by industry standards is considered to be parallax free.

The skeletonized bracket offers two mounting options. That way it is possible to make use of the sight on an AR-15, as well as shotguns and if you desire pistols. Overal length of the sight is just 2.5″ inches that makes it simple to fit on an extensive assortment of firearms.

The sight is also waterproof.  The seals keep out moisture, dust and debris. The tubing is nitrogen purged to the extent that the Vortex Crossfire is completely fog proof.

An excellent red dot sight is really hard to beat when it comes to overall shooting or closeup work. You wind up obtaining a top notch red dot for a rather inexpensive price.

The Vortex Crossfire red dot sight is covered by a lifetime warranty. The Vortex warranty covers the sight with a no fault warranty and is transferable.

The sight offers no magnification. As most red dot sights, it has unlimited eye relief. Windage and Elevation can be adjusted with up to 100 MOA in graduations of 1 MOA.

This allows one to regulate the intensity to any light and environmental situation at hand.

Now one of the issues I have with the Crossfire is that it does not have an auto shut off function. Now I cannot complain about this to much because of the price range. I currently would say that is the only thing I don’t like about this red dot.

Again please let us know your thoughts on this red dot and leave your review ratings as we would like to know what you all think!
