Petition: Invalidate petition banning advertising firearms

I think the person who started the petition to ban firearms advertising threw the mail has closed the petition but this petition created to fight it and to be sent to the mayor still needs your support to ensure firearms can be advertised as it should be!

Carroll Lefebvre recently started a petition to ban the advertisement of firearms (https://www.change.org/p/mayor-lois-jackson-and-council-not-in-canada-stop-bass-pro-shops-advertising-guns-for-sale-in-flyers).  Bass Pro is far from the only outlet advertising firearms.  It is a part of Canadian heritage.  I recall even Sears and Hudson’s Bay used to sell firearms, that’s about as Canadian heritage as you can get.  I, and millions of others across Canada enjoy and look forward to receiving these flyers in the mail.  Instead of allowing this sort of panicky censorship, perhaps it should just be suggested that when you receive a flyer in the mail for a product you do not like, simply place it in the recycling bin and do not browse it or purchase product from it.  As opposed to being an inconvenience for everyone who would like to receive it.
